ALEXANDER IRADYAN

Born in 1990, Aleksandr Iradyanstudied at the Yerevan State Conservatory (composition faculty) with prof. Stepan Rostomyan. Besides composition, he studied orchestral conducting with prof. Yuri Davtyan. Now, he is a student of Brussels Royal Conservatory conducting department (prof. Philippe Gérard). Iradyan’s music has been performed in Georgia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Great Britain, USA etc. In 2011 Iradyan was awarded a First Prize of Aram Khachaturian International Competition for his second symphony Six Answers. Iradyan has been working with movie directors Arman Yeritsyan, Aram Shahbazyan, Tigran Shahinyan and Samvel Tadevosyan. In 2014 Iradyan’s Memos of a suicide ballet / alternative psychodrama was staged in National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia and was included in their repertory.
  In 2015 his musical poemDNA15-15 was a great success with Belgium National Orchestra during a worldwide concert tour of With You, Armenia. Iradyan has been working with conductors Rashid Nigamatullin, Eduard Topchjian, Ruben Asatryan, Grzegorz Nowak and George Pehlivanian.According to film and other productions Iradyan has worked with Bars MediaDocumentary Film Studio, DEEM Communications, Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Belgorod Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida International University student orchestra, performers Vardan Gasparyan, Yelena Vardazaryan, Armen-Levon Manaseryan, world famous cellist Mischa Maisky and violinist Maxim Vengerov.
