Aida is an artist at heart; her greatest pleasure is performing in front of an audience. A former pianist and music instructor, joining the dance troupe has allowed Aida to reconnect with the passions of her youth. But her bohemian nature has also caused problems for the Chosen Ones.
She was married, but her husband cheated on her and left her. Her children live in the US, where she does not want to move since she cannot imagine starting to live in a new place at this age.  Once she had lots of people around her, but today she is divorced and lives alone. Most of all, in her life she is scared of being alone and every single day she finds ways to get out of her home. She is an artist and a woman who cannot live without being the center of attention. She takes great care with her appearance, making sure to put on her make up every morning with a stylish outfit.

Aida is at times capricious and unpredictable, dazzling when she dances, but often late for rehearsals, and unprepared for performances. Worst of all, she sometimes loves the stage too much, and doesn’t want to share it with the other members of the troupe. As she continues to dance with the Chosen Ones, we see her overcome her inner contradictions, and learn to have real friendships.
