Jasmena Karapetyan

 She never imagined when she decided to volunteer her time to help the elderly that it would lead to The Chosen Ones. A hydro-meliorator by profession, all she wanted to do was get the seniors physically active again. She is now known as the director and choreographer of the group. She is the one who inspired the members to overcome their personal tragedies through the dedication to the craft of dance and dedication to one another and themselves. Jasmena works as a volunteer without any profit. She is busy with her own life that is full of youth, a large family and children. First she thought that “The Chosen Ones” would be a short-term project both for herself and for retirees. But after all the success, and achievements, after seeing the excitement of the elderly and their will to live, Jasmena cannot leave them.
