Unlike everyone else, Martik is married, has children, a beloved wife and doesn’t go to the soup kitchen out of necessity. He goes because of an unfulfilled dream in another direction. Martik was a welder, but now earns a living as a night guard at a TV station. But life lead him back to his dreams; by chance he saw The Chosen Ones during shooting, reminding him of childhood ambitions of dancing onstage. His life took him to the TV show Hidden Talent. He was so excited that he threw in every last effort to join the group and was accepted. Now he practices his dancing and singing throughout the night at his guard post, making sure he gets everything right. He is determined to prove to his family, friends and audiences that The Chosen Ones is not a club of hopeless, elderly people but a troupe to be reckoned with.
